Earning

$EMET - Community members can earn only by tracking physical activity with Embry Smart Insoles or other devices that have been tested by Motearn professionals (Or a partner company) and got a high-reliability score. $MOT - Community members can earn for tracking physical activity with any device (smartphone, smartwatch...) that has not passed Motearn reliability testing Earning efficiency depends on many factors like Avatar strength level, steps count, Suitability of the ctNFT shoe with performed activity type, type of activity (running, walking, biking, etc.), and even the weather in the city(NOTE: NO-GPS data is collected! One-time nonmandatory manual input of the city will be asked) All coefficients impact both $EMET and $MOT earnings the same way.

Avatar's Strength Level The efficiency grows based on the growth of Avatar's Strength Level. The level can increase infinitely. There are no limitations on how strong a community member's body can be or become. The below table shows the earnings correlation with the Strength Level.

NOTE: efficiency grows on each level infinitely. Every 10th level is shown on the table until the 100th level to give you a sense of how it works.

🛑 Discouraging inconsistency: if the user is not doing any physical activity 3 days in a row, the Avatar's Strength Level will decline by 1 level every 3 days. Step Count ✅ Encouraging to move more: Though the system rewards for the first 2000 steps of the current day, those earnings will be unlocked and added to the total balance only if the member passes the minimum 2000 steps recommended by WHO. ✅ Encouraging to move more but not overdue at the same time: There is a Step Count coefficient. With every 1000 steps, It becomes harder to do more steps within the current day, so this coefficient grows hence the rewards. However, it starts declining to discourage overtraining and possible injuries after reaching 15,000 steps. The below graph shows how the Step Count Coefficient is correlated with step count.

Activity Suitability (Coming Soon) The Activity Suitability coefficient depends on how suitable the current shoe is for the activity type performed and how hard it is to perform the activity. Below is the table that shows the coefficient for each activity type.

Below is the formula that shows how the earnings are calculated

EMET/MOT= StepsCount x ASLC x SCC (Coming soon xASC x BC x WC )

StepsCount: Steps count ASLC: Avatar Strength Level Coefficient SCC: Step Count coefficient BC:(Coming soon) Boost coefficient (Boost is usually one and does not affect the earning unless the user uses elixirs to boost the earnings) WC(Coming soon): Weather coefficient (Coming soon) ASC(Coming soon): Activity Suitability coefficient

🛑 (Coming soon)Discouraging too much sitting: if the user sits 2 hours in a row without standing, then every 1 hour, the user will lose tokens.

Data Synchronization

Members can open the app to sync 🔄 once in 2 days. If not synced, the current day data will be lost at the end of the next calendar day. If used parallelly, the system will automatically choose the source with a higher priority to ensure the member gets the highest earning for each step. However, this process may take some time, depending on when the data from different sources is synced. Hence members will see some recalculations on their earnings until the next calendar day ends. Priorities are based on the data reliability of the source:

  1. Embry Smart Insoles

  2. Smart Watch

  3. Phone
